You’ve probably heard of taking Tadalafil for erectile dysfunction, but what about for bodybuilding? In this article, we’ll be explaining what Tadalafil is and discuss its potential benefits for bodybuilding.

Tadalafil, sold under the brand name Cialis, is an FDA-approved prescription medication that belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It's most commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Tadalafil works by relaxing the muscles in blood vessel walls and increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body.
While tadalafil is not approved or recommended as a bodybuilding supplement, some studies have explored its potential effects on muscle performance. Tadalafil helps increase blood flow throughout the body by inhibiting PDE5, which can result in more oxygen and nutrients being delivered to muscles during exercise. Some researchers have studied tadalafil's potential in treating Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), finding that it may help reduce exercise-induced muscle damage in some patients. However, these are medical treatments for specific conditions, not performance enhancement for healthy individuals.
Using tadalafil for bodybuilding purposes without a doctor's prescription is not recommended and potentially dangerous. Tadalafil is a prescription-only medication and should only be used under medical supervision for approved indications. Possible side effects include headache, flushing, upset stomach, abnormal vision, nasal congestion, and back or muscle pain.
In Singapore, tadalafil is a prescription medication that requires a doctor's authorization. If you are experiencing erectile dysfunction, it is advisable that you consult a doctor. Here at Noah, our doctors are best equipped with the knowledge to help you ascertain the root cause of your ED and can determine whether tadalafil is right for you.
