That’s Erectile Dysfunction (ED)
When you have difficulty getting or staying hard long enough to enjoy sex. It happens when blood flow into the penis is low, and blood flow out is high, because of an enzyme called PDE5. And it’s more common than you think.

What Causes Erectile Dysfunction (ED)?

51.3% of Singaporean men, above the age of 30, experience some form of erectile dysfunction (Tan et al., 2003), making it one of the most common sexual health issues here.

It can be due to physiological, psychological reasons, or a combination of both. Common physiological causes include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, and aging. These conditions are directly affected by blood circulation in the body, and adequate blood flow to the penis is what enables healthy, hard erections. These can be treated with prescription medication.

Common psychological causes include depression, anxiety and stress discords, which affect overall mood, libido and sexual satisfaction. Therapy may be a good method of treatment in these cases.

When Should I Seek Treatment?

Nobody's perfect. Sometimes we let ourselves down. It's the same with erectile dysfunction. On occasion, you may have difficulty getting or maintaining an erection, and that's completely normal!

But if the problem persists, affects your relationship with your partner, or disrupts your overall well-being, then we recommend you speak to a doctor to assess the issue and get the treatment you may need. At Noah, this can be done in minutes in the comfort of your home.

What Types Of ED Meds Do You Prescribe?

According to the Singapore Urological Association, the recommended oral treatment for ED is phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors. PDE5 inhibitors work by increasing blood flow to the penis, causing it to remain erect.

At Noah, we offer a range of medications to suit your lifestyle and preferences. We carry prescription pills, oral thin films, and mints, all of which can effectively treat your ED. We also offer combination prescription mints that allow you to treat both erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation at the same time.

Can I Switch Meds?

If you find that you are not getting the results you want with your current medication, we offer a range of alternatives that vary from strength, duration and form factor.

Here at Noah, we provide free follow-up consultations within 6 months of your initial appointment. During these consultations, you can discuss any issues you may be experiencing with your current treatment and receive personalized recommendations from your doctor.

Can I Take More Than 1 ED Med At The Same Time?

While you might be tempted to combine ED medications or take more than 1 within 24 hours to improve performance, doing so can lead to an unsafe drop in blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, or other serious health issues.

It is recommended that you speak to your doctor if you find that the prescribed medication is not giving you the results you're looking for.
